The COVID pandemic illuminated the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers. GFGF has invited interested women to learn how to make scrub caps for future use and sale.Â
In partnership with local instructors working in Neer Village, Give For Good sponsored sewing classes for women of the village by purchasing equipment and organizing a safe classroom space. Our first three-month course commenced in February 2022 and included 18 women graduates.Â
Although yoga originated in India, many rural women are unfamiliar with this ancient practice. Earlier in 2022, GFGF held a Yoga day in conjunction with local instructors and introduced children of the Neer village to the art and science of yoga.Â
